Jacques Bermon Webster II, born April 30 1991, is more commonly popularly known as Travis Scott (previously Travi$ Scott), the American rapper, singer and songwriter. His stage name is that of his beloved uncle, and also the initial name given to Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing contract with GOOD Music with Kanye West. He signed a joint recording contract with Epic Records and T.I. in April 2013. He's signed to Epic as well as T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first album, Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in 2013. In 2013, Scott self-released his first full-length album, called Owl Pharaoh, and was followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) marked the release of his debut studio album. The hit song, "Antidote", was featured on it. The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was a top one on the Billboard 200. Scott's second album, called Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016), was a collaboration with Quavo. It was titled Huncho Jack Huncho and featured his debut Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode" which featured Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released late in 2019 by Cactus Jack Records. It was a top 10 hit on the Billboard 200. Following the release of his single "Franchise", which featured Young Thug as well as M.I.A., Scott was in a position to release the album compilation JackBoys. Scott was the first artist on The Hot 100 to have three songs hit the top spot within the span of a year.
