Milana
Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub is an American comedian, actor, and activist. Born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents Her career began as a child performer shortly after immigrating to the United States. The appearances she made as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials from 2013 to 2016 - and now from 2020 on - earned her acclaim. In addition to her commercial appearances, she was a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and played a part in a recurring role in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub, who was originally chosen to play the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's unaired pilot for New Warriors in 2018, was voiced in that role since. Vayntrub, an Jewish person, was born in Tashkent (Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic), USSR. Her parents and her were exiled from antisemitism as young as just two years old. They emigrated to the U.S. with their children. She started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five, due in part to her family's financial problems. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. She dropped out of the school in her sophomore year. She was able to get a GED and then was able to earn an undergraduate degree in Arts (Communication) from the University of California San Diego. With the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied Improv comedy.
