1967. His seven-year-long stint as Saturday Night Live's cast member helped him
become one of the most famous comedy stars in the world of film. He became
known for off-color hits like Anchorman The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004) and
Old School (2003). Ferrell co-founded Funny or Die video streaming service. He
also had success in the role of a voice actor on animated films like Megamind
(2010). John William Ferrell was conceived in Irvine, California on July 16,
1967. Will Ferrell was the oldest of Lee Ferrell, Righteous Brothers
keyboardists and Kay Ferrell. As a University High School student, he was not
exactly a clown in the class. He was quiet and studious however, he decided to
play football, setting records for his school in terms of the highest number of
field goals made. Even in the more comfortable surroundings of his suburban
home, Ferrell displayed little of the outrageous, funny outbursts that would
later help define his career.
