Drew Blythe Barrymore (born February 22nd 1975) is an American actress. She has been awarded numerous prizes such as an Screen Actors Guild Award Award as well as an Golden Globe. There have also been five Emmy Award nominations as well as an BAFTA nomination, and five Emmy Award nominations. She is part of the Barrymore family of actors and the daughter of John Barrymore. Barrymore was an actor as a child and achieved fame for her portrayal of E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. She published Little Girl Lost, her autobiography detailing her childhood of drinking and drug abuse. In the 90s she appeared in numerous films, such as PoisonIvy Boys on the Side and Mad Love. Barrymore starred with Adam Sandler on a few films including The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates and Blended. Barrymore became famous as the child actor for her role on E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.
